Roseate Spoonbill Fledgling Plays Collection

Barbara Fallenbaum's Original Painting of a Roseate Spoonbill fledgling getting ready to leave the nest, but first must learn to fly.
A fledgling is a young bird that has grown enough to acquire its flight feathers and is preparing to leave the nest and care for itself. They are capable of flying but are clumsy at it.  In this case the landing was good but our Roseate was not too sure about it. A Roseate Spoonbill fledgling is still fairly light in color and has not lost all of it feathers on their head.  They are strangely beautiful birds, particularly the young.  Who doesn't love a child!
