Male peafowl are known as peacocks, females are known as peahens. White peacocks are rare and have a conditions known as Leucism which cause partial loss of pigmentation. Leucism is a genetic mutation that can affect the skin, hair, feathers, but not the eyes. White peacocks are a rare form of the blue peacock. I’ve only seen these at a plantation in Hawaii across from the Pacific Ocean. Such a delight!
