Roseate Spoonbill & Babies Original Oil Painting

Barbara Fallenbaum

Original Oil painting by Barbara Fallenbaum.  Gorgeous at a distance and bizarrely beautiful up close.  They breed during the winter in Florida, nesting in colonies.  Spring time in Texas.  Nests are built in mangroves, tree, shrubs, usually 5-15 feet above the water. sometimes on ground.  Nest are built mostly by the female with the materials the male has brought her.  Both the female and male incubate the eggs and feed the young.

  • The painting measures 36" x "36, with frame 44" x 44" x 2.5" deep.
  • The frame is solid wood and custom for this painting.  We finish each one with an undercoated metallic glaze and a nice cream crackle top coat, giving an elegant coastal feel.  Each frame is a unique piece of art by itself!
  • The logo watermark that you may see on your screen will not be on the painting you receive.
