Reclusive, charming little Shorebird. They build their nest in dense tree with other birds nesting. All of their nesting colony watch out for each other. I’ve been fortunate to have them nesting in my yard for the last two years.
I paint these studies over and over again, each time I paint it, it will come out different. Same as in nature, each bird builds its nest different adapting to the materials they find and the location available.
