Painting of a majestic Great Blue Heron.  Great Blue Herons are the largest heron in North America.  Spotted this one across the cove standing on a neighbor’s yard.  I had not seen her on our cove before.  It looked young, like she may be coming into her first mating season.  The reason I assume its a female,  we have a beautiful male that inhabits our cove and he usually chases other Great Blue Herons off.  But he did not chase her off, I think he liked her.
