TriColored Heron Portrait - Original Oil Painting

Barbara Fallenbaum

Barbara Fallenbaum's Original Oil Painting of a colorful character,
the TriColored Heron.

A fairly small heron that wades through coastal waters, often running and stopping with quick turns and starts, as if dancing in a ballet.  This is how it herds and confuses its prey. The white stripe down the middle of it long slender neck and its white belly sets it apart from other dark herons.  I spotted this one hanging out at Fort DeSoto Park.

  • The painting measures 36" x "36, with frame 44.5" x 44.5" x 2.5".
  • The frame is solid wood and custom for this painting.  We finish each one with an undercoated metallic glaze and a nice cream crackle top coat, giving an elegant coastal feel.  Each frame is a unique piece of art by itself!
  • The logo watermark that you may see on your screen will not be on the painting you receive.
